Righto, here we go! Vic Open is just around the corner!
I shall try to keep this brief for you all.
The Vic Open is on the 15th and 16th of Feb. Everyone plays on Saturday in South Melbourne and the semi finalists for the AAA’s play on Sunday as part of the St Kilda Fest.
AAA’s are playing the big beautiful beast that is Double Elimination with most matches on Sat, and the semi finals and beyond on Sunday in wonder that is the St Kilda fest. Tech meeting is 7am on Saturday, games to start very soon after. Sunday will start at 10am on St Kilda Beach.
AA, A, B, C and the U15’s will start at 9am and will play only on Saturday on South Melbourne Beach.
Seeding will be done as per our handbook. I will use the Vic Tour results compared with the National Ranking System’s data to ensure that everyone is the right place at the start of the event.
You will need to be a member of MBVA, or your home states sporting body to compete in this event. This will be checked and enforced, email me if you have questions.
1st in AAA will receive $900 with $450 for 2nd and $100 for the equal 3rds. There will be 2024/25 tour t-shirts for all of the AAA players, singlets and crops for the AAA semi-finalists!

Entries close at 8pm on Thursday, 13th of Feb and the Seeding list will be available before 9am on Friday, 14th of Feb.
